The Nissan Juke is a quirky looking mini crossover or mini SUV, which Nissan released in 2010. The vehicles for sale in Europe are made in their Washington plant. They are also available in Japan, New Zealand and North America. Despite its slightly unusual looks, the Nissan Juke has proved to be an extremely popular vehicle in all four markets.

It is available in 19 different models and offers four sizes of engine. Three are petrol driven, the 1.6 Turbo, 1.6 and 1.5. There is also a very popular 1.5 diesel available.

There are three transmissions to choose from a five-speed manual, six speed manual and CVT. All Nissan Jukes are front wheel drive. However, there is also a four-wheel-drive version available.

They are all built upon the Nissan platform that was previously used for the Nissan Micra and Note. Once again, Nissan have worked with Cranfield to produce the sub frame and frame. The vehicle has already won several awards. Perhaps the most notable is its award for safety. In 2011, the Insurance Institute for Highway safety gave it the Top Safety Pick award. On a lighter note, it is also famous for being the car that Terry Grant broke the Guinness Book of World Record for driving on two wheels. He drove around the Goodwood Hill course on two wheels in just 2 minutes 55 seconds.
