This kind of lanyard is ideal for children to use. You can cut them to fit each child. However, before using them on children you should consider whether a lanyard with a breakaway fastener would be more appropriate. These lanyards are designed to snap off and breakaway the moment they catch on something. Beaded lanyards tend to be a little bit tougher and it would take a significant yank for the lanyard to break.
