Don’t borrow a van without temporary insurance cover in place

Every so often a van comes in handy. True some things will fit into a big estate car, but it’s only possible to open the boot so wide. For moving things on any kind of scale or shifting big items like pieces of furniture, there’s just no substitute for a van. People can drive them with a regular driving license. They are easy to manoeuvre and make any kind of moving job easier.

Some people hire them, others are lucky enough to know someone who they can borrow one for the day from. All kinds of people have vans like electricians, plumbers and builders for example. Rather than going to the expense of hiring one for the day, some people can just ring up a friend and make use of their van. However, they should never take risks with insurance.

Even on short journeys anything could happen. Temporary van insurance is perfect for anyone who just needs to borrow a van for a day while they move house or do a big clear out. There’s no reason to take a chance or pay over the odds for cover. A simple online application is all it takes to get the insurance cover people need for a short period of time.

Temp van insurance guards against the unexpected. If anyone has a bump or a more serious accident when they are borrowing a van, then everything will be paid for. It’s complete peace of mind.

Once cover has been put in place it’s time to pick up the keys and start moving things out of the house. Thanks to the added capacity of a van there’s no need to make several trips. Everything can be taken care of nice and easily thanks to the extra load space and those big doors. It’s the perfect solution.
