Environmentally Friendly Water

There are many things big corporations will not tell you about bottled water. Whilst it is not fair to vindicate large corporations merely for being large corporations (after all, the majority will have started from humble begins and simply managed to keep their customers happy over many years to ensure their success pre-empted growth), there are certain instances in which certain products that are sold are merely a way of making huge profits. Bottled water is one such instance, and not only may many bottled water bands offer nothing but filtered water, even those that are not are likely to be potentially damaging to both you and the environment.

Not only is the amount of plastic used each year to bottle water a major cause of damage to the planet, but the amount of resources used up to transport the water will also have a very negative effect on the environment. This is not the only problem with bottled water though, and by leaving water bottled for months on end, certain chemicals may well end up being carried by the water.

However, this is not saying anything about the benefit of consuming healthy water. In fact, the benefits of drinking water can be huge. However, it is likely to be cheaper, healthier and a lot kinder to the environment if you simply buy Brita water filters and filter your very own tap water.

Not only will the cost of buying replacement Brita cartridges be extremely low compared to the cost of constantly stocking up on bottled water, but the filtration process will often make tap water far healthier for us than the water that is offered in bottles.

A huge amount of damage can be caused to the environment by creating bottles and transporting water across the world, and such damage is without merit since the water we all have available in our homes may be tastier and even healthier for us too.
