There are so many superb fashion accessories for consumers to choose from these days, including Spirit Hoods and much more.
Increasingly, people may be heading online to pick up items like this. For the busy modern fashionista, this approach can be much more convenient than perusing high street shops. Also, it can provide individuals with greater choice. Regardless of the type of items they are after, they should not struggle to get their hands on them.
The latest IMRG Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index highlights the increasing use of the web among consumers in the UK.
It revealed that online retail sales rose by 14 per cent last year compared with the previous 12-month period. Also, growth of 12 per cent is predicted for this year.
Many of those who are on the lookout for Spirit Hoods UK and other fashion accessories may have used their mobile phones, tablets and other handheld devices while shopping.
The index revealed that sales through mobile devices were especially strong last year, with total sales up by 304 per cent on 2011. Meanwhile, because mobile devices proved popular as Christmas gifts last month, the number of people shopping via smartphones and tablets may continue to rise in 2013.
Commenting on this, head of retail and technology at Capgemini Chris Webster said: “The big stand out is mobile commerce and its growth in the last 12 months has been staggering. The developments in the technology and the steps taken by retailers to improve their mobile services have seen a shift from browsing, to a fully fledged commerce site integral to our shopping experience.
“Visits and sales from either a smartphone or a tablet device are nearly four times higher than last year – we are reaching a point where we are spending longer on our phones shopping than making calls.”
