Search for worst parkers underway

When people book driving lessons Sutton and elsewhere, there are many different skills for them to get to grips with. As well as learning how to follow the rules of the road, budding motorists also have to master various manoeuvres.

For example, in order to pass their tests, individuals need to be able to successfully complete corner reverses, three-point turns and reverse parks. There is no point going in for their exams until they have perfected these disciplines.

However, it seems as though some drivers forget much of what they have learned once take to the roads for real.

Many people struggle to park properly and this can cause them real difficulties, especially when they are trying to find places to leave their vehicles in busy and urban areas where space is in short supply.

Recently, car leasing company Central Contracts announced it was accepting nominations for the first competition to find the UK’s worst car parker, the Daily Telegraph reports.

In order to qualify, nominations must be accompanied by photos of the offending parking and the scenes must be real rather than staged.

Organisers of the contest are hoping that frustrated sons and daughters will nominate their parents, while spouses will send in snaps of their other halves’ bad parking.

The worst examples will be published on the company’s website and around half a dozen candidates will be shortlisted. These motorists will be invited to attend a final event next spring during which the winner will be announced.

This person will receive a course of advanced driving lessons to help them boost their skills behind the wheel.

By making sure they put in enough time and effort into parking manoeuvres during their driving lessons Croydon and elsewhere, learners may be able to ensure they never become candidates for bad parking competitions themselves.
