There is no denying that UK consumers love their luxury bags. According to the World Luxury Index, which is an international ranking and analysis agency, Britons conduct more online searches for these products that people in other nations.
It found that consumers in the UK accounted for 422 searches per 1,000 internet users of the most searched-for brands.
The study looked at more than 130 brands through 130 million searches across a total of eight nations.
Commenting on the findings, the Daily Mail remarked: “Women worldwide are willing to sacrifice their hard-earned monthly salaries for a piece of lusted-after arm candy. But it has been revealed that British woman are the hungriest handbag hunters in the whole world.”
It added: “Britons were behind almost half of internet searches for luxury handbag brands at a time when it seems impossible to escape daily reminders of the country’s economic turmoil.”
These days, people have a broader selection than ever before when they are after luxury bags. By heading online, they can take their pick from a vast array of products.
