Bride to be has unexpectedly dramatic hen do

When women head out on their hen dos, they want to make the most of the occasions. After all, they are celebrating one of their few remaining official nights of freedom. These days, there are lots of hen party supplies for consumers to make the most of.

One individual who got a little more excitement than she had bargained for on her big night was Georgina Blaydes. She was out with 17 friends and family at the Bella Italia restaurant on Exchange Street in Norwich when a fire broke out at the establishment, the Norwich Evening News reports.

Commenting on the events, the 24-year-old, who is set to tie the knot to her partner 25-year-old Damion Spencer on October 29th, said: “Drinks had been served and we were just waiting to order our food when we all said we could smell burning. Next thing we knew we had been asked to vacate the building.”

She went on to note: “Grabbing all our drinks and bottles we quickly rushed outside, and once we knew that nobody inside was hurt the banter began with the other customers. Everyone thought it was hilarious that we were on a hen night and two truck loads of fireman come to our rescue!”

Making the most of the occasion, Ms Blaydes made sure she had her picture taken with the firefighters.

Meanwhile, she went on to praise the way staff at the eatery dealt with the emergency and summing up her celebration, she added: “It was definitely a hen night to remember!”

Increasingly, consumers are heading online to source any hen night supplies they need. This can save them time and money, and it means they have access to a broad range of products. Among the most popular accessories are sashes, badges, fancy dress items and games.
