It had been a long time since I last rode a bike for pleasure purposes but I was determined to boost my fitness levels. I was tempted to buy a mountain bike at first but my lack of fitness would have let me down the moment I began peddling for the first time.
The concept of an electric bike was mentioned at some point (for the life of me I can’t remember who by) and I was intrigued by the notion of folding electric bikes. Could Folding Electric Bikes be the answer to my fitness regime, would they be the perfect machinery to get me familiar with biking once more?
I had a bit of dilemma on my hands because I liked the idea of Folding Electric Bikes but didn’t know anything about them. Judging by the name I guessed Folding Electric Bikes were powered by some sort of battery but that’s as far as my knowledge ran. So I did a little investing to learn a little more about Folding Electric Bikes and here’s what I found.
Folding Electric Bikes are powered by 36 volt batteries
My suspicions were confirmed, folding electric bikes were indeed blessed with battery power. The remarkable thing though was an electric bike could cover 25 miles on one charge with a bet of pedal power or up to 15 miles on battery power lone. That’s quite some distance and it would be perfect for my fitness regime so that was one tick for Folding Electric Bikes.
Plus the Folding Electric Bikes could travel at 15mph and they’d happily tackle steep hills which was another feather in their cap. As the name indicates Folding Electric Bikes are easy to store machines, they’re easy to fold, light to carry and even come with their own zip-up bag. The more I discovered about Folding Electric Bikes the more intrigued I became and wanted to find out more.
Why buy an electric bike?
This was the question I found myself asking, what would be the advantages of folding electric bikes? Obviously fitness was my primary concern and the great thing about Folding Electric Bikes is they gradually get you fit without you even knowing it. You can pedal as much as you like, use battery power when required and ease your way into fitness with Folding Electric Bikes. Plus their really handy machines to have around, you can pop Folding Electric Bikes in to the boot of your car and take them to the country for a ride, take them on camping trips or use them for commuting to and back from work.
As a weighed up the merits of Folding Electric Bikes I made a monumental decision. The bikes were too hard to resist so I’m now the proud owner of a Lifecycle Traveller bought from Electric Bike World.
“What’s the point of an electric bike?” That was exactly the question I faced when I bought myself and my partner a pair of folding electric bikes from Electric Bike World (as the name suggests, they’re an online bike electric shop!).
