Luxury fizz is proving popular among consumers
When people are keen to treat themselves or their loved ones, they can invest in special wine hampers. There are plenty to choose from and ordering the baskets is quick and simple.
Individuals might be particularly interested in versions that include champagne and sparkling wine. According to a Marketing Week article, consumers around the world are getting a taste for bubbly.
The news source cited research conducted by TNS Global which suggested that the alcohol market share of these beverages in the UK could nearly double to 9.1 per cent.
It suggested that people are “moving away from seeing champagne as a celebratory drink and towards more of a lifestyle”.
Commenting on the appeal of these drinks, Guy Kemplay, director of brand strategy at TNS Research International, said: “In terms of why there is that demand and interest in sparkling wine and champagne, it has always been an aspirational category, it has a unique combination of different values in terms of sophistication and indulgence, but also sociability. The combination of having those three is unique to the category.”
Meanwhile, Paul Beavis, managing director of Lanson International, added that people are becoming “much more engaged in champagne as a style”. He remarked: “Consumers looking at champagne consumption are saying, it doesn’t have to be a wedding or a celebration, it can be just that it’s a Thursday night or I’ve made it to the weekend.”
As well as single bottles of fizz, consumers can choose from hampers than contain a number of bottles along with edible treats. These wine gift hampers make excellent Christmas, birthday and anniversary presents and they can also be handed over as corporate gifts.
There are lots of different combinations for individuals to choose from. Whether they want sweet or savoury hampers, they should not struggle to find the perfect versions.
