More and more people around the UK are tucking into Japanese cuisine. For example, lots of consumers now take advantage of sushi delivery services in their local areas. These dishes can be packed full of flavour and they are also a favourite among the health-conscious.
Sushi can provide a fresh and low-calorie alternative to many other meals and one woman who knows all about the potential benefits of the food is former Big Brother star Josie Gibson.
The Daily Mail noted that Gibson has lost an impressive four stone in just six months and has now released her own fitness DVD entitled 30 Second Slim.
Speaking previously about her weight loss, she revealed to Now magazine that sushi formed part of her diet. About this, the celebrity remarked: “I spent months at the start of my health kick craving all things sweet and my old diet. But now, hand on heart, I’ll choose a bit of sushi over a lamb doner any day.”
She added: “It’s taken me over six months to lose nearly four stone and I couldn’t be prouder of myself. In fact, from now on you’ll probably be confusing me with Miranda Kerr. Kind of. I’ll honestly never be fat again and looking to the future doesn’t fill me with fear like it used to.”
As well as changing what she ate, Gibson also ramped up her exercise regime in a bid to shed the pounds. She has been working out with her personal trainer, James Stark, four times a week to help her achieve her ideal shape.
Of course, it is not only people on health kicks who enjoy tucking into sushi. Consumers with a penchant for tasty food are also making the most of sushi delivery London and the dishes make superb party snacks too.
