Writing a Letter Can Leave a Lasting Impression

There was a time when letters were commonplace; the most effective way of communicating with someone, no matter how far away they happened to be. For those who were a great distance apart, they were periodical things that let someone know that they were being thought of and that showed that they meant enough to that person to inspire them to take the time to write.

Today, we can instantly connect with people all over the world at the touch of a button and therefore taking the time to stay in touch does not have the same meaning that it once did. Friendships or relationships that would have in the past drifted away to nothing can now be kept strong with very little effort and, whilst this can be a good thing is some respects, it has made the act of reaching out to those we truly do care about far less special. As such, for those who really want to show they care, writing a letter can be extremely important and show just how much effort you are willing to go to. Whilst it may be easy enough to send an email or text instantly, by taking the time to write out a letter with fountain pens on good quality paper, you are offering something that is far more exciting to receive and that is likely to be kept for far longer.

Old emails and texts are rarely seen again, whereas old letters can be kept for decades, cheering people up when they are down or simply allowing them to take a trip down memory lane anytime they want, and therefore, whilst it may be easy to keep a friendship alive in the here and now, writing a letter by hand is likely to keep a relationship and friendship alive for a great deal longer in the end.Letters are forever not just in the immediate. So, by buying the right pens and just taking the time to write a letter, you may well show someone just how much you care, and brighten their day far more than a call or text ever could.
