Many people choose the wrong computer simply due to the fact that the best computers are likely to be far more expensive. As such, not only do they have a computer that cannot achieve what they need it to or is not compatible with much of the hardware or software that they own, but they will also no doubt spend far longer than they need to booting up, shutting down and simply trying to access programs.
PCs are notorious for being slow and easily contracting viruses. As such, those who use a PC are likely to be spending a great deal of time and effort simply trying to do what they want to safely, not to mention far more money making sure their computer continues to work. Macs on the other hand have a much better reputation for reliability, practicality, speed and even intuitiveness.
Yet, there is a problem – they tend to be a great deal more expensive than your average PC. And yet, they are not actually proportionately much more expensive. When you take into account the fact that their spec will usually be far greater than that of a cheaper PC, you truly are getting what you pay for, and getting all the reliability to boot.
Furthermore, those who can find a cheap Apple Mac will be able to sync their array of other Apple products such as iPods, iPads and iPhones with their computer and ensure that all of their hardware is totally compatible.
And finding a cheap Mac no longer has to even be a challenge. Whilst a brand new Mac might still be out of the price range of many of us, a refurbished Mac is likely to be just as reliable, just as fast and just as capable, but be available for only a fraction of the cost of a brand new Apple computer.
