Are Traffic Accident Claims Now Harder to Make?

There has been a good deal of press lately about how insurance companies and indeed the police force are cracking down to ensure that traffic accident claims are not as easy to make as they once were.

There is good reason for this though, and it is not merely down to insurance companies not wishing to pay out what they owe. Instead, it is to ensure that the many fraudulent claims made every year do not affect the premiums that honest drivers pay for their car insurance and to ensure that only those with a genuine claim to make can do so.

So, in some ways it is indeed harder to make such a claim. However, if you have genuine traffic accident claims to make, you will still be able to make the claim and get exactly what you deserve, even if you have to jump through a couple more hoops to get there.

Of course, it may also depend who you are claiming from. In the majority of cases, those looking for road accident compensation will need to prove the culpability of another person and therefore will need a skilled solicitor onside to ensure they can do just that. As such, the hard work will be down to your solicitor, and their fee will almost always end up being paid by the other side should you win, meaning that not only should it be as easy as ever for you to get the road accident compensation you deserve, but also to get it without losing money.

There are indeed stricter guidelines to meet when you wish to claim for the likes of whiplash or claim for any other type of road accident. However, this should not affect those who genuinely deserve such compensation, but instead those who are simply trying their luck.
