When women are searching for Fantasie bras and other items of lingerie, it is important that they know their size.
According to one writer, many consumers are not aware of their true proportions. Writing in the Stir, Mary Fischer stated: “If you think you might be wearing the wrong size, odds are good that you probably are.”
She drew attention to one of her recent shopping trips. She was looking for a strapless bra to go with a bridesmaid dress that she was wearing for her best friend’s wedding. Ms Fischer remarked: “Being a small-chested (yet proud) A-cup gal, shopping for bras is no easy feat. Actually, I hate bra shopping. And that’s probably why I hadn’t done it in at least two years or so, until right before New Year’s Eve.”
When she ventured into a shop, she picked up an extra-padded size 36-A bra and headed for the dressing room. However, en route, she was greeted by a sales assistant who asked her if she would like a fitting. She said yes and was surprised to discover that she was in fact a 34-B, and could possibly be a C cup if she wanted to.
When she put the new bra on, she discovered that the B fitted perfectly.
Talking about her chest in the item of lingerie, she said: “They’re perky. They’re at exactly the right level they’re supposed to be. And you know what else? My clothes look a hell of a lot better too, which is an added bonus.”
The writer added she cannot believe how long it took her to find out her true size, saying that from now on, “bra shopping will actually be enjoyable”.
As well as finding Fantasie lingerie online, consumers can also take advantage of measurement guides, enabling them to pick up bras that are the ideal size for them.
