Women failing to wear matching lingerie

There is plenty of gorgeous underwear for women to choose from these days, including Fantasie lingerie and much more. Consumers who are stuck for time but who still want to have access to a broad selection of products can head online to make their selections.

However, despite the convenience of shopping and the variety of bras and knickers available, it seems many women are not wearing matching sets of underwear.

According to research conducted by George, only one in seven British women wear matching underwear every day, the Sun reports.

Of the women polled, 69 per cent revealed they save their matching lingerie for special occasions, only ‘pairing up’ a maximum of five times a year. Unsurprisingly, Valentine’s Day was found to be the most popular day to don matching underwear, with 58 per cent of women under the age of 40 choosing to wear a black lingerie set on February 14th.

Just one in ten of the respondents said they stick to traditional red knickers and bras. Meanwhile, 36 per cent noted they have bought colourful printed sets and one in 50 women said they will wear animal print knickers and bras.

It was also found that ‘two cups up’ bras that give wearers an enhanced bust are the biggest sellers and are bought by 39 per cent of women in matching sets.

Commenting on the findings, George’s Fiona Lambert said: “It doesn’t have to cost the earth to wear matching underwear, knowing you are co-ordinated and wearing something special gives a girl a real confidence boost and a spring in her step this Valentine’s Day.”

By taking advantage of the shopping opportunities available online, consumers ought to be able to find all the lingerie they want, including Fantasie underwear. As long as they are savvy in their choice of retailer, they can benefit from impressive value for money, meaning they should be able to stick within their budgets.
